THE STORY

 Does the smell of apples make you happy? It should, as studies show.

   I used to love to go with my father to pick up the apples from the local orchard. I can still recall the scent of hundreds of bushels of ripe red apples glowing in the cold room.

Even now the memory makes me smile.
